Leader Development with hormel Austin, MN

On thursday september 11, John and I were invited by hormel to speak to over 40 leaders from different departments within the hormel plant. Over the course of 90 minutes we discussed a number of topics involving leadership, such as mindset, positivity, teamwork, and how difficult conversations don't have to be difficult.
Our Program. which utilizes content backed by best selling author jon gordon, was a hit amongst the attendees. It was great to see the energy and participation amongst the leaders in the room. exercises led by John such as our "one minute motivator" had attendees recording their own personal motivational messages inviting people to join their team.
It was an incredible experience for PME Hard Consulting. we WERE able to speak to a group of leaders who were ready to learn and willing to get out of their comfort zone to explore new concepts and ideas. the leadership at hormel was incredible in organizing this event, inviting us out to speak, and engaging genuinely in the instruction.
We'd like to thank Michael Barrett and christopher geis for coordinating everything for us to make this happen.

Travis manion foundation
9/11 Heroes Run
Austin, MN
On THE day following the leadership seminar, we took part in the 9/11 heroes run put on by the travis manion foundation. An incredible event with over 250 participants this year, either jogging, walking, rucking, and even roller blading the 5k route. On top of that, over 50 volunteers helped to make the event come together. John was invited to speak before the start of the 5k to help motivate the crowd and deliver an emotional message so that we didn't forget the reason we were there on that day. We were joined at the event by friend and business partner kevin flack of Downrange supplements. kevin came out to support the event and create 2 hydration stations for athletes participating. Downrange also provided samples to participants to help spread awareness of the product.
