FIRES Symposium and visiting troops Fort Sill, OK
What an outstanding week at the Fires Symposium and troop visit to Fort Sill, Oklahoma. During my trip, I had the opportunity to serve as a guest speaker at the CSM/SGM breakout session, visit troops from 1-31 FAR, and observe E3B testing. I also spent valuable time at the NCO Academy conducting an LPD with both students and cadre, and took part in some high-energy PT alongside fellow CSMs.
The week also included a no-host social, a visit to Garrison HQ, and several key engagements, including office calls with the Fires School Commandant and CSM as well as the FCOE CSM. I was able to tour FISTA and even crossed a major milestone—9,000 signed E-tools. Many thanks to CSM John Bamba for the incredible hospitality and for hosting such a meaningful visit. Great things are happening at Fort Sill to build lethality, readiness, and fitness.
